Wild harvested from the pristine waters of the Pacific Ocean off Tasmania's east coast, Power Super Foods raw organic premium grade Wakame Leaf (Undaria pinnatifida) is a mineral dense brown seaweed rich in nutrients and flavour enhancing umami.

As a result of the low temperature drying, you might see white powder on the leaves. This is mannitol, a naturally occurring substance and the source of the delicious sweet salty umami flavour that gives depth of flavour to this wild sea vegetable.

Our wakame is wild grown and sustainably hand harvested fresh from the uncontaminated waters of Tasmania, then gently sun dried.
